Pathways Private Duty is a non-medical service (sometimes generically called homecare) that helps seniors, the chronically ill, and people recovering from an illness, surgery or an injury-anyone who could use extra help with everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and walking. Incontinence care is available for clients who need it. Because Private Duty Care is non-medical, it is usually not covered by insurance. Some long term care insurance may cover Private Duty care.
