Hospitality Houses's Sixth Street Self-Help Center is a drop-in center where people can safely tend to their primary needs: escaping the cold, resting free of traffic, noise, or harassment, or just using the restroom. It is also a meeting ground where neighborhood residents struggling with homelessness and poverty can access services, connect with their community, and work to stabilize their lives. The case management team provides individualized counseling and care planning including assistance with processes necessary to secure benefits
