They assist persons with mental illness or substance abuse problems with maximizing their potential for independence by finding and sustaining satisfying, competitive employment. The;employment staff accomplishes these objectives by focusing on what people already do well, by identifying interests and motivations that can lead to successful completion of goals, by helping people develop a specific and feasible employment plan, and by providing individualized services specifically tailored to the needs of each person.
