Refugee & Immigrant Services

Refugee and Immigrant Services provides new clients with low cost or pro bono consultations via our regularly held Monday intake workshops in San Francisco and San Mateo. Potential clients may come without an appointment on any given Monday to speak with a BIA accredited representative who can assess their eligibility for all family based immigration benefits, Removal of Conditions, Naturalization, T and U Visas, VAWA, DACA, Advance Parole, and Provisional Waivers. They also assist with Asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases, depending on our capacity. Please note they do not provide assistance with student or employment based visas. We charge $50 for the consultation, however anyone with a letter from a social worker, case manager or other evidence demonstrating financial hardship may be served pro bono. They also provide Know your Rights Workshops periodically and New Client Workshops in Redwood City and Palo Alto monthly. Please contact the RIS Programs for additional information and resources.

*Registration for the workshop is from 10-12, while the workshop begins at 2pm.
