The Project Return Peer Support Network Warm Line serves Los Angeles County residents in need of support, information, and referrals. Callers need not have a mental health diagnosis or be calling with a specific concern in order to speak with a peer supporter. Reach Center (formerly CVAB) Warm Line is a pager based, peer run warm line out of Vancouver, WA accepting national calls. They are open from 5:00-10:00pm every day. There are no major call limits, though callers are usually restricted to one call per night. Usually it takes up to 15-20 minutes to receive a callback.While out of area calls are accepted, be aware of limited ability to handle high call volume.

Sacramento Consumer-Operated Warm Line is a program of the NorCal Mental Health Association. The Warm Line is peer run and is available to all US residents. Calls are limited to two per day and about 20-25 minutes per call. At this time, due to budget cuts, calls are only available in English. Referrals to Sacramento area resources can be made.

Open to San Joaquin County residents only, this support line is staffed by Mental Health Outreach Workers (sometimes but not necessarily peers) and is appropriate for both consumers and loved ones. Phone workers are able to provide emotional support, information, resources and referrals.This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is a program of San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services.

The Shareline is a non-peer run warm line (currently one person, with plans to expand by adding peer volunteers) out of Connecticut. While technically they accept outside of the area callers, their ability to handle high call volume is limited. There are no call limits but it is likely people will need to call back if they can't get in touch with the line. Hours are 12:00pm-4:00pm Monday through Friday.DO NOT refer outside of the area callers to this line - they cannot handle the call volume.
